Freezes GPS on GolfShot

Have used Golfshot quite awhile and love it.
Bought Golfscape to augment it. Strange thing has happened; it sometimes freezes the GPS on my Golfshot. Not on all the holes on a course, just an occasional hole. Had 957 yards on one hole on Golfshot, clicked the Golfscape icon and it suddenly went into satellite access mode and then gave the correct yardage in Golfscape. Returned to Golfshot and then it too had the correct yardage.
This happens several times per round where I have to leave Golfshot and open Golfscape in order to get the yardage to become active and accurate.
Contacted the programmers and they dont have a solution yet. They tweaked my home course data but that was to no avail. It is a bug and hasnt stopped bugging me. I have deleted Golfscape for the time being and Golfshot works like it always has. A great program in its own right but dont be surprised if Golfscape turns it into a problem.
